Spring Break Camp
Signups are being taken for the March 25-28 Spring Break Basketball Camp sponsored by the Humboldt State women’s basketball program.
Boys and girls in grades second through sixth are encouraged to attend, with instruction daily from 1 p.m to 5 p.m. in the Forbes Complex facilities.
Cost of attendance is $95, which includes instruction, contests, camp t-shirt, photo, daily games and awards. Call 826-5942 for information.
Girls Basketball Camp
The Girls Basketball Camp is offered to 2nd-12th grade students, including graduating seniors.
2nd-5th Grade Day Camp: June 23th-26rd,-2008
6th-12th Grade Commuter Camp: June 23rd-26th, 2008
6th-12th Grade Resident Camp Dates: June 23rd-27th, 2008
Basic fundamentals of offense and defense are emphasized. All campers will participate in competitions including hot shot, Basketball Olympics, 3-on-3 and 1-on-1 tournaments, league play with a minimum of two full court games per day.
Living accommodations are provided by the HSU Dining and Housing Services. Linen service will be available and campers will be supervised by adult live-in counselors. 6th-12 graders' Overnight/Commuter Camp fees also includes all-you-can-eat meals. 2nd-5th graders' Day Camp also includes an all-you-can-eat lunch.
Camp staff include HSU women's basketball coaches Joddie Gleason and Skip Gleason, in addition to HSU basketball players and various high school and college coaches.
Cost: $395 for 6th-12th grades overnight camp residents and $295 for non-resident campers. $195 for 2nd-5th grades day camp.
