Jacks' soccer field is player and fan friendly
Over the years, Humboldt State's soccer style has been characterized as aggressive and finely honed. While the latter adjective is useful in describing the Jacks' home field, the relaxing setting hardly fosters agression among the fans enjoying the day.

While bleacher seating is provided along the field's north sidelines, fans often choose to bring their blankets and lawn chairs instead. Positioning their own seating along the north sidelines allows spectators an up-close-and-personal view of the game as it approaches their location.

But most preferred by the majority of fans is the south side of the field, where a natural slope offers great views of all the action. Thick, luxurious grass beckons to those who bring along mats or blankets, with perhaps a picnic lunch also tucked under their arms.

The field itself is wide by most playing standards, measuring 222 feet by 400 feet. It is located near the west and south edges of campus, bordering L.K. Wood Blvd.
