Head Coach Joddie Gleason’s Comments
“Our ability to bounce back after last weekend is critical.  We have two really tough opponents in (Cal Poly) Pomona and (Cal State) San Bernardino coming in.” … “Pomona is a very good team and are in the hunt for a conference title and a trip to the regional. They really defend well.  They force you to run your stuff, make the right read and hit shots.  Down there we didn’t hit the shots and turned the ball over too much.  They forced us out of what we wanted to do on offense.” … “San Bernardino has a prolific scorer in Urzua that you really have to focus on defensively.  You try to slow her down.  You can’t really stop her.  They play a lot of people, so outside of Urzua they really don’t have anyone who jumps out at you statistically, but they get production from a lot of people. Ooten, in the post, played very well against us last time. I expect a really good game.”
